ABOUT LAUREN
Lauren has been steeped in language in literature since early childhood. The daughter of a professor and a writer, she was raised in the United States, Italy, Switzerland and France. After majoring in classics at Haverford College, she completed an M.A. in Russian Studies at Yale University, followed by additional graduate work in linguistics. For over 12 years Lauren taught academic English to pre-undergraduate, undergraduate and graduate students at a number of universities, including Harvard, The School of the Art Institute, and DePaul. She has also designed and delivered courses, programs and workshops for business professionals and educators at city, state and national levels.
Her special interests include creativity, travel and ecotourism, health and environmental issues, spirituality and personal growth, animal welfare, the outdoors, dance and music.
